This is a very unassuming property that exceeds expectations on every front. On paper, you're getting a 2 star guesthouse. In practice, this is a great traditional German resturant (with German sized portions) with a small number of very comfortable rooms. The hosts are very helpful and friendly. Parking (free) is safe and directly outside the nain door. The area is that it is situated in a small village in very oeaceful surroundings.

Check-in was easy. Staff was nice. Room was big and clean. Easy parking, sufficient space in front of the hotel. Easy to reach to nice places in the area by walking. I would like to stay again.

We stayed in a deluxe double which had a view out over the garden and on to the lake. The room was clean and tidy but there are no tra or coffee making facilities in the room.
